Docking Stations Provide Unprecedented Utility and Flexibility for Company's Gas Analyzers

Customers can create a gas analysis system customized for their facility.

Orange County, CA (PRWEB) October 4, 2005 -- One of the best features of XaustAlyzer.com's combustion gas analyzers is their portability. The ability to take the analyzer where it's needed, without a power cord, makes it extremely convenient to use. Still, some applications need a semi-stationary analyzer, heavy-duty pneumatics, or longer battery life. XaustAlyzer.com customers can choose a 4 or 5-gas analyzer, one of two docking stations, and an optional printer to create a gas analysis system that meets their specific requirements.

The company's hand-held exhaust analyzers latch securely into the docking station to become portable analyzers with longer battery life and convenient connections for the sample probe, AC power, and a PC connection. The analyzer is easily installed or removed from the docking station, so you don't have to choose between a hand-held or bench-top analyzer.

The combined weight of the docking station and analyzer is less than twelve pounds. The system is also compact; it needs little more than one cubic foot of space. The docking stations are equipped with a padded handle for true portability, but you can also plug in to AC power and use it as a bench-top analyzer. The small footprint and low profile will fit in the most crowded workspaces.

The Mark II Docking Station is slightly heavier because it's equipped with a heavy-duty pneumatics system. It's intended for continuous bench-top use, but at 14 lbs. it's still quite portable. A simplified sample hose and probe system is included with the Mark II. Mark I docking stations can be upgraded to Mark II in the field with the Accessory Pneumatics Module, which includes a sample hose and probe.

A thermal printer can be attached to either docking station with the optional printer bracket. The printer adds a little weight (about 1 1/2 pounds), but does not change the size of the system.
