(PRWEB) October 4, 2005 -- GeekFury.com (http://www.GeekFury.com/) is looking for the best Geek Halloween costume. We're judging the costumes on three qualities-design, concept and construction. First prize is a $50 gift certificate to the winner's choice: Best Buy, the iTunes Store, NewEgg.com or Amazon.com.

What is a "geek" costume? Simply put, a geek costume is any Halloween costume that reflects your interests in all things geek. It could be a geeky tribute costume that pays homage to a famous character like Dr. Who, or Mr. Spock. Or, it could be something altogether original, a creation of your own design. One things for sure, we're not looking for typical Halloween costumes-like a scarecrow or a ghost. So, be creative, be original and above all be geeky!

Prizes:
1st place - $50 gift certificate to the winner's choice: Best Buy, the iTunes Store, NewEgg.com or Amazon.com
2nd place - $20 gift certificate to the winner's choice: Best Buy, the iTunes Store, NewEgg.com or Amazon.com
3rd place - 5 free GeekFury stickers (winner's choice)
