iEmulator 1.7.7 is now able to access the Mac’s CD-ROM drive directly, removing the requirement of creating CD images. Add this to the new feature of being able to import Virtual PC 7 emulated PCs for those upgrading from competing platforms, and it’s easy to see why iEmulator 1.7.7 is the most significant release to date! Despite regular updates, iEmulator’s price remains at $23.95 USD, and all updates always have been and always will be free of charge.

“Installing Windows is now a quick, three-step process” says David Schubert of “Tell iEmulator how much hard disk space you wish to allocate to Windows, insert your Windows installation CD in your Mac, and launch your emulated PC. That’s all it takes!”

iEmulator also includes all of the great features from previous versions of the software, including the ability to share files between the Mac and the PC environments, support for up to 1GB of RAM for each emulated PC, PC state saving and loading, full-screen as well as windowed mode, printing support, support for international keyboards and support for running multiple emulated PCs simultaneously.

In addition, continues to set the benchmark for customer support and service. From simple thank-you’s for a quick tip to comments like “Thanks for the really quick reply … everything works perfectly now. I’m very impressed!” to “iEmulator was really easy to work with, and I'm very impressed by the power of your software. I'd like to personally thank you for all the help.” is proving that we are consistently setting customer satisfaction as the goal above all else.

iEmulator is a high-performance PC emulator for the Mac OS X platform that has been available since November of 2004. For more information please visit
