Colorado Springs Airport to Get New Multimedia Corporate Display Program

Colorado Springs Airport and Pennsylvania-based Interspace Airport Advertising extend partnership through 2015.

Allentown, PA (PRWEB) October 5, 2005 -- Plans are immediately underway to upgrade the technology and display opportunities for the Corporate and Community Showcase display program inside Colorado Springs Airport. The terminal-wide changes are designed to coincide with the airports own construction project for the expansion of the concession, passenger service, and meeter and greeter areas.

As the city is making important changes to enhance the experience of all who visit and travel through Colorado Springs Airport, Interspace is upgrading the 'look and feel of our showcase program," remarks Interspaces project coordinator, Christopher Betz.

Plans include technology upgrades to the Reservation and Information Center, 7 foot wide backlit scrolling signs in the baggage claim areas, spectacular multimedia flat-panel video screens over the escalators, and increased specialty display space in the concourse. We currently have a Honda Ridgeline on display upstairs and a Hummer H3 and Harley Davidson display downstairs. All draw lots of attention," says Betz, Were looking forward to adding to this success."

Along with the structural and aesthetic changes being made to the facility, Interspace is working with the airport on a new Flight & Baggage Information System to be located at various positions throughout the terminal. Plans include streaming weather, flight arrival and departure, and baggage claim information. There will also be excellent promotional opportunities tied to the system," says Betz.

The agreement between the City of Colorado Springs and Interspace Airport Advertising, inked this past July, extends the partnership between the two organizations into 2015. Interspace developed the current terminal showcase in 2000 and has committed to invest over $200,000 in new capital to enhance the airport and the display program.

Representatives from Interspace will be on-hand at the airport from October 10 to October 14. Were meeting with many of our current partners and introducing many new organizations to our program." Current participants include Boeing, Hewlett-Packard, Sparta, the World Figure Skating Museum, Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrup Grumann, as well as a variety of hotels and attractions.

Companies with an interest in a display at the airport can contact Christopher Betz at 484-201-5525 and cbetz@iaateam.com.
