Hub Culture, the global urban social network, will release its first DVD of contemporary art on 22 October, featuring timelapse footage of Antarctica and a custom ambient chill soundscore. Designed for flat screen TVs, lobbies, and projection systems, it's the ultimate chill: TV you don't watch.

Hub Culture Retrospectives: Antarctica (HCR:A) is a journey to Antarctica without documentary edits or intrusive narration, just majestic timelapse views, stunning soundscapes, and wildlife existing at the pace of nature.

Experience the last continent with an electro-ambient score by AEROSTATIC or the original environment soundtrack, featuring the natural sound of wind, water and animals all doing their own thing.

AEROSTATIC is Terry Golob and Michele Darling. Based in New York City, they utilize artifacts of sound generated by digital and analog processing in conjunction with a variety of interactive technologies to compose and design audio environments for film, installations and music performance.
