“We are very pleased to be able to showcase the works of such a talented group of artists, while benefiting such an incredibly worthy cause as the Ronald McDonald House,” commented Ms. Chantilis, who is organizing the event with the sculptor Mark P. Williamson.
A cocktail reception will take place the evening of Friday, October 14th and will honor Ronald McDonald House board members, area patrons of the arts, area members of the press, Dallas gallery owners, and others who helped organize the event. The show will take place the afternoons and early evenings of Saturday and Sunday, October 15 and 16.
The show will feature the mosaic works of Ms. Chantilis, the sculpture of Mr. Williamson, and the paintings of Michael Longhofer, Constance Greer, and Lynn Rushton. Twenty percent of all proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
“The Ronald McDonald House of Dallas is honored to have been selected as the beneficiary of this exciting art exhibition,” commented Courtney McLain Reeder, Director of Development for Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. “‘Ms. Chantilis has been a long time friend and supporter, so in our 25th year we are thrilled to be able to support the fine arts on behalf of the seriously ill children and their families we serve”.
