Brooke Trace Gallery will hosts fundraiser for Kids In Distress, Friday, October 14. The October Exhibition will open the same night. There will be live music, appetizers, wine , and a silent aution.

(PRWEB) October 6, 2005 -- The Brooke Trace Gallery October Exhibit Opening will display original artwork ranging from watercolor and oil on canvas to photography and sculpture. This Event will be held Friday, October 14 from 6-9 p.m. at the gallery. Featured artists include Mike Turner, Jesse Thoreson, John Bowen, Irwin Weintraub, Tripp Harrison, Ashton Howard, Lynn Desaulniers, Max Gold, Brooke Trace and more. Invited are those that appreciate the arts in and around Fort Lauderdale.

Kids In Distress is a community supported agency dedicated to the care and treatment of abused children, the prevention of child abuse, and the prevention of family. They are a leading force and authority in the treatment of abused children, and a premium agency advocating for development of children’s services. This event will support them through donations at the door and the silent auction.

The Brooke Trace Gallery and local business's has donated many wonderful items for the Silent Auction being held between 6:00pm – 9:00pm. The second Friday of the month has been selected for featuring artist's exhibitions. Refreshments will be served complimentary appetizers.
