Dynamic Content and A/B Splits Among New Features Added to Email Marketing Software

Durham, NC - October 11, 2005 -- Bronto Software, Inc., a leading email marketing software company, announced today that revenue for the third quarter 2005 exceeded projections and doubled revenues of the same period in 2004. In addition, Bronto continued to expand its customer base during Q3, with a growth rate over 60% higher than the same period in 2004. Most client gains were in the E-Commerce and Publishing industries. Bronto, an organically grown, privately held company which provides email marketing software solutions to marketing departments and agencies across North America and Europe, has been profitable every quarter since it was founded in 2002.

Bronto Software's continued strong growth stems from close attention to usability, deliverability and value. Bronto's core product allows marketers to create and send email newsletters, surveys and other communications to their email contact lists. Functionality is the focus of Bronto's product - from organizing and segmenting email contact lists to creating and sending email newsletters and surveys, to analyzing marketing results in real-time reports – marketers have a host of options to streamline and track email marketing efforts.

During third quarter 2005, Bronto integrated several new features that extend the functionality of the product and improve the user experience. New features such as options for A/B splits, dynamic content and the integration of Yahoo! DomainKeys to ensure deliverability, added value to the core product and allow all clients to benefit from these innovations.

A partial list of the 69 new clients gained during Q3 2005 include Juniper Networks, Nine Systems, Leica Geosystems, Stars and Stripes, Telluride Ski Resort, EH Publishing, The Noteworthy Company, Med1Online, Lone Star Comics/mycomicstore.com, The Spokesman Review, UNC School of Pharmacy, and Great Outdoor Provision Co.
