In the process of migrating our website we have performed some much-needed repairs and additions, and we will also be adding many new features in the coming weeks including an on-line Republican web shop selling educational materials including books, pamphlets, pins and other merchandise. We are confident that our new site will be better than ever and we look forward to your input and your contributions.

The Irish Freedom Committee remains the only US-based human rights organization devoted to the direct support of the families of Irish Republican political prisoners, interned for their belief in a united, 32-county all Ireland republic free of British military and administrative rule. Many Irish republican POWs are given severely draconian sentences of up to 30 years based on circumstantial or fabricated evidence including the use of tampered forensics, paid government witnesses and agents-provocateurs. These political prisoners are held in some of the worst conditions in Europe, and are frequently denied medical care, fresh air, free association amongst themselves, regular contact with the outside world, and visits with their families and loved ones.
