Why Are We Really Here? Exploring and Understanding God’s Purpose For Your Life

(PRWEB) October 9, 2005 -- “Why am I here?” “What’s it all about?” “Is there a purpose to any of it?” For anyone who struggles with these kinds of questions in their life, a recently published book provides step-by-step guidance on how to answer them in profound ways. When God’s Purpose Becomes Personal, by Matthew Omaye Ajiake, is for anyone who dares to embrace their own personal God-given purpose in life. Ajiake’s book is a guide to learning about the God of history and becoming immersed in His reasons for living today.

Ajiake makes the case that every person on Earth has been created for a unique purpose and to contribute a positive legacy to the human family. Fame, fortune and all the other seductions of life are insignificant compared to the overarching purpose of which Ajiake writes. He quotes from the autobiography of Lee Iacocca, a man who attained extraordinary success in the world. “Here I am in the twilight of my years, still wondering what it’s all about,” Iacocca wrote. “I can tell you this: fame and fortune are for the birds.”

Ajiake contends that people who are willing to study the God of history and understand how His purpose can be applied to their own life need not go on being uncertain about what is most important or how to pursue it. The author reviews God’s relationships with humankind throughout history, calling up examples of people, such as Abraham, who chose to follow God’s higher purpose for their life and went on to accomplish great things, even though they may have been considered “crazy” in doing so.

Pursuing God’s personal purpose, Ajiake points out, can lead an individual to abandon their sense of safety and security, causing them to question their own sanity at times. Faith is the backbone of Ajiake’s message, an ever-present theme in humans living out God’s purpose throughout history and in the present.

In When God’s Purpose Becomes Personal, the author discusses the initiation, development and deployment of a personal faith that allows one to live out his her life to its fullest potential. In this book, Ajiake demonstrates the fact that each human is born at just the right time to live out their purpose. He encourages each of us to view and manage our lives as a project -- a plan or undertaking that requires a concerted effort to produce the desired results. “Each project or person is wired to succeed in life and leave a legacy for the human family,” says Ajiake. “So, every life’s challenge with God as your coach is destined to make you a winner.”

When God’s Purpose Becomes Personal is the first of a three-part series by Ajiake. The book is followed by When God’s Purpose Becomes National and When God’s Purpose Becomes Global. All the books demonstrate how others in the past who pursued God’s purpose change their communities, their nations and the world at large and how each human, today, who chooses to pursue God’s purpose for their life could also impact their local, national and global communities for good.
