All of these results returned contain the compound word and only one additional English word or acronym. This same feature can be used to broaden single word searches as well. For example, if a user searches for the word ‘car’, they have the option to broaden the results returning all three-word domain names where one of the words in the name is ‘car’. The new “Go To” box option will allow users to jump over several pages at a time, for example users can now go from page 1 to page 50 and vice versa. This is useful for returning users who wish to start from where they left off.

Other new features at pcnames.com include the ability to choose the tld for top domain searches, 3char search and a dictionary search. Plus, a feature that’s convenient for returning customers is the option to limit top domain searches to new additions. Whenever a user adds a domain to their cart it is checked for availability in “real time” to make sure it’s still available to be registered at that moment. This is done in a separate thread using AJAX, so it will not slow down the searching.
