(PRWEB) October 11, 2005 -- pcNames.com, a relatively new domain search engine, has been online for a little over 6 weeks. During that time they have surpassed 50,000 searches and received many valuable comments and suggestions. With the domain industry growing at more than 1,000,000 registrations per month, pcNames has added .biz, .info, and .us deleted domains to their free domain search engine to keep up with the growing demand. They now have deleted domains in .com, .net, .info, .biz and .us.

www.pcNames.com is continuously receiving and implementing excellent ideas from their users. Mark Flemming at DomainRookie.com, a current user of pcNames, has this to say about the new developments. “It's smart to work with users, not just to ‘serve’ customers, but to improve the product. Most developers seem to not understand that, thinking they have all the answers.” Some of the new features include search-broadening options such as a compound word search, a “Go To” page box and a location of keyword option.

After analyzing the searches done at pcNames, and corresponding with their current customers, pcNames have concluded that many of their customers are accustomed to using compound or two word searches. For example, searches containing racecar, yard sale, and George Bush, return results such as racecarcenter.com, virtualyardsale.biz, and mailgeorgebush.com. All of these results returned contain the compound word and only one additional English word or acronym. This same feature can be used to broaden single word searches as well. For example, if a user searches for the word ‘car’, they have the option to broaden the results returning all three-word domain names where one of the words in the name is ‘car’. The new “Go To” box option will allow users to jump over several pages at a time, for example users can now go from page 1 to page 50 and vice versa. This is useful for returning users who wish to start from where they left off.

Other new features at pcnames.com include the ability to choose the tld for top domain searches, 3char search and a dictionary search. Plus, a feature that’s convenient for returning customers is the option to limit top domain searches to new additions. Whenever a user adds a domain to their cart it is checked for availability in “real time” to make sure it’s still available to be registered at that moment. This is done in a separate thread using AJAX, so it will not slow down the searching.

pcNames.com has also implemented bulk pricing and as a grand opening special for every 4 domains purchased the user will get the 5th one free. This registrar and free domain search engine can be found at (http://www.pcNames.com).
