SCOTTSDALE, AZ (PRWEB) October 11, 2005 –-
Sondra Raines, president and founder of “That Dog Nose Art!”, recently announced plans to launch a new line of artwork for dog lovers in collaboration with fine artists. The new line will be aptly called “That Dog Nose (Fine) Art!” because Oscar the Schnauzer’s nose art will be incorporated into the works of such accomplished painters as Johanna Harmon (Colorado), Dimitri Kourouniotis (California) and Melanie Tewksbury (Arizona).
“I am very excited about this unique collaboration,” Raines said. “We expect to have other artists participate in this endeavor though I must say I am very pleased with the artist line-up we have so far. The human artists choose a piece of Oscar’s nose art and actually incorporate his work into one of their creations, and therefore the project name of ‘That Dog Nose (Fine) Art!’”
The current line of “That Dog Nose Art!” cards is based on designs by a Schnauzer artist named Oscar who has been creating abstracts with his nose on his owner's car windows since he was a young pup. His work is photographed, color enhanced, and turned into note cards. Now 13 years old, Oscar devotes his remaining years towards helping other animals. Part of the proceeds from the sale of his note cards is donated to such organizations as the Arizona Humane Society, Altered Tails, Alliance for Companion Animals, AzCATs, and several other humane organizations.
