ResortQuest Whistler Announces Call Centre Outsourcing to Intrawest Central Reservations
ResortQuest Whistler (ResortQuestWhistler.com) has entered an agreement with Intrawest Central Reservations (ICR) that will see ICR act as its call centre as of October 6th, 2006.
Whistler, BC (PRWEB) October 11, 2005 -- ResortQuest Whistler (http://www.resortquestwhistler.com) has entered an agreement with Intrawest Central Reservations (ICR) that will see ICR act as its call centre as of October 6th, 2006.
This partnership looks to strengthen ResortQuest’s sales by utilizing ICR’s first-class call centre facility located in North Vancouver, BC. The strategic decision was based on many factors including Intrawest Central Reservations’ knowledge of the industry and the fast-paced growth of its technology. Paul Sanderson, GM, ResortQuest Whistler reiterates this by stating: “The decision to outsource ResortQuest Whistler's call centre to ICR allows us to offer our consumers a reliable vehicle through which they can book total vacation packages while still booking their accommodation direct with ResortQuest.”
The agreement means ResortQuest’s calls will be answered by the professional Travel Consultants in the British Columbia Call Centre Association’s 2005 Call Centre of the Year. “This decision makes perfect sense for both parties,” explained Tom Brauser, VP – Sales for ICR. “Our Travel Representatives know the Whistler destination better than anyone in the industry and our technology and facilities allow us to easily deliver and exceed on ResortQuest’s needs.”
The partnership agreement is in place in time to facilitate ResortQuest’s busy pre-Christmas booking period. With snow already on Whistler Blackcomb’s slopes, it looks to be a banner season for all.
