SwapThing.com expands internationally offering barter internet service to users in 31 countries in addition to the US and Canada.

After nine months of operating solely within the United States and Canada, SwapThing is listening to the demand from swappers around the globe. SwapThing launched in January 2005 in the United States and Canada, with an eye on a future international expansion. That future is now, and potential users outside of these two countries will no longer face geographical roadblocks during the registration process.

With the international expansion, SwapThing opens up their unique barter system to 31 new countries, including Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the EU nations (France, United Kingdom, Germany, etc.). While language support is still a future endeavor for SwapThing, the newly added functionality allows swappers to see where items and services are located, as well as display their own items with the proper country code.
