All Writers Are Invited to Ignite Fragile People's Dreams

Through the annual Dream Article Writers Contest, Alkogen hopes to bring international attention to the quest of Prof John Cleary, who authored the first internationally published article in 1986 to highlight the suffering of people experiencing problems with confirmed NAD Energy Deficiency. In 2003 he again wrote about NAD Therapy that is now available in capsule form from Alkogen to treat NAD Energy Deficiency.

Nigel, South Africa (PRWEB) October 11, 2005 -- The Alkogen announces the Dream Article Writers Contest, beginning immediately and ending on September 30, 2006. An Early Bird Prize of US $1000 cash will be paid on December 15, 2005 and 2 x monthly prizes of US $100 cash for the highest rated articles of each specific month during the duration of the Contest.

The Dream Article Writers Contest started in 1996 as the Alkogen Journalism Award with nominal prizes, to raise awareness for the plight and treatment of sufferers of NAD Energy Deficiency and their loved ones. Although coverage was intended to be only regional, right from the start the Award attracted entries from all parts of South Africa and even some from abroad.

In 1997 the world-renowned journalist Ruda Landman was awarded the Alkogen Journalism Award and notable previous winners include Alet Rademeyer and the late Prof Murray Janson. In his last published book, Prof Murray Janson referred to this award as only one of two that he ever received in his illustrious life as one of South Africa's most well known pastoral counselors and public figures.

Prizes: The Alkogen Journalism Award grew in popularity very quickly. The prize money and recognition have risen over the years. In 2005 it was decided to convert the Alkogen Journalism Award to the International Dream Article Writers Contest. Now the First Prize is US $5,000 cash; Second Prize: US $1,000 cash; Third Prize: US $500 cash.

Entry Fees: The entry fees for the 2005/6 Contest are $30 for multiple articles and $25 for a single article. Each author receives an online Author's Profile Box to accommodate his short biography and to do a bit of self-promotion. Both the article and Authors Profile stay live on the website http://www.dreamarticle.net for the duration of each year's Contest.

Deadline and Promotion: The official duration of this year's Dream Article Contest is from October 1, 2005 to September 30. 2006. On a regular basis during its duration the Contest will be promoted by means of paid service providers to a media database of more than 100,000 online media contacts and industry analysts as well as inclusion in: RSS/XML/OPLM/NewsML, Paid Search Engine (Overture), Google News, Yahoo News and MSN News.

General: This contest is open to anyone writing in English. There is no age limit. The purpose of the Contest is to find the best articles written by the best international writers who can identify a dream theme from and base their article on the original book, "Dreams for Fragile People," by Dr. Daan Steyn and Theo Verwey (1999). Winning articles must demonstrate an outstanding grasp of the therapeutic meaning of "Dreams for Fragile People." Any author can enter and even journalists are still welcome to participate. Journalists can even enter their published articles based on any theme covered in the "Dreams for Fragile People" e-book. The only proviso is that the journalist must obtain prior permission to enter the published article.

Article Submission: Articles must not exceed 700 words and must be electronically published by the Author, for public review and rating by visitors, directly on the website http://www.dreamarticle.net. The top dream articles of 2005/6, in the discretion of the organizers, will be compiled into the Dream Article E-book 2006. All entrants will receive resell rights and the opportunity to download a free copy of the published E-book.

Judging: All entries will initially be reviewed by visitors of Dreamarticles.Net, including the more than 7000 existing NAD-Users who can immediately post their reviews on the website. The winning reviewer will receive a US $2000 cash prize. Finalists will have their work judged by accomplished authors and established NAD Practitioners. They include Dr. Debrah Raccine-Baker (Canada), Prof John Cleary (USA) and Dr. Charl Stevens (South Africa). Additional judges may be announced at a later date.

About the Sponsor: Alkogen Products (http://www.alkogen.biz ) is a world renowned nutriceutical company manufacturing and exporting NAD Cellular Energy Nutritional Supplements globally since 1997.
