About The International Center for Attitudinal Healing – Service in Action
For 30 years, The International Center for Attitudinal Healing has worked with people facing some of the most stressful situations any of us will ever experience – from children and adults with catastrophic illness, to parents who have lost children, to refugees of war and victims of violence.

The Center's Direct Service Program provides more than 25 weekly groups for people of all ages, home and hospital visiting services, and referral and crisis support. Programs are available for those coping with life-threatening or chronic illness, aging, bereavement, youth, and general support. All of these services are offered free of charge. The Center's crisis team responded to the bombing of Oklahoma City, and currently has a team in Beaumont, Texas to support refugees of Katrina.

The Center also provides training and consultation for schools, hospitals, health care providers, and the workplace. There are more than 130 global affiliates offering a variety of other programs and services in their communities. A non-profit organization, the Center is endorsed by the American Medical Association and supported through public and private foundations and individual memberships.
