West Palm Beach Computer Career Center Grant Program for Microsoft and Cisco Career Training Continued for 2006

A tuition assistance grant program will be continued for the 2006 enrollment year. The grants are available to all applicants who undertake and successfully complete a premier Microsoft or Cisco Certification Training Program at CompTEC Computer Career Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

West Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) October 16, 2005 -- Steven Hatch, President and CEO of PC Training Institute, Inc. announced today that a tuition assistance grant program will be continued for the 2006 enrollment year. The grants are available to all applicants who undertake and successfully complete a premier Microsoft Certification Training Program at CompTEC Computer Career Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Mr. Hatch noted that improving economic conditions and announcements of major business development agreements, such as The Scripps Research Institute proposed Palm Beach County project, are projected to result in increased demand for newly certified information technology professionals throughout the South Florida area. Increased hiring from local corporations and increases in requests for employees received by the school indicate growth in almost every sector. U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics shows unemployment down to 3.6% as of August 2005, another strong indicator that employers need trained professionals now. That need is expected to increase even more next year.

The grants available range from $1000.00 to $3000.00.

MCSE: Security $1000.00

MCSE/MCDBA Dual Certification $1000.00 grant

MCSE/MCDBA/ MCSD.NET Triple Certification $3000.00

MCSD.NET/MCDBA $1000.00

CCNA $400.00

CCNP $1600.00

CompTEC has $50,000 in grant money for enrollments taking place between 10-1-2005 and 10-1-2006, however it is anticipated that the available grant funds will all be committed by March or April of 2006.

Mr. Hatch also reports that CompTEC has additional grants for veterans. see http://www.comptec.com/mgibit/ and http://www.comptec.com/vets/index.htm
