ARTV Awards Nominated Artist McKenzie Paints Using CyberHolograms™
ARTV Awards Nominated Artist uses state-of-the art technology to elevate her mixed-media paintings to a new an innovative level.
(PRWEB) October 14, 2005 -- Mixed-media artist, McKenzie will unveil her newest creation incorporating CyberHolograms ™, in her painting, “Pink Skies” at the ARTV Awards on October 28-29 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
McKenzie has created a series of paintings specifically using the Open CyberHolographic™ Standard (OCHSTM), from Chromatek. A set of open design standards for encoding holographic depth into images. This revolutionary 3-D process enables the creation of 'normal' looking color images that can be viewed as two dimensional images alone, but which jump into holographic 3-D when viewed with the revolutionary ChromaDepth® 3-D optics.
How it works: A "normal" image is two-dimensional. All positions on the image can be located by their X and Y coordinates. A three-dimensional image has another dimension, Z, which is required. The Z is the position into or out. ChromaDepth® 3-D takes a much more efficient approach by using color to carry the Z position information. This is called encoding depth into color.
“McKenzie has mastered this new code of color “depth” and has used it UNIQUELY. Her work has been elevated to a new level--- creating an amazing experience for the viewers unlike any by artists before her. The audience at the ARTV Awards is in for a treat. Her work must been seen to be believed!” says art critic and collector Yuri Marianovsky.
“I love the new challenge of working in 3 Dimensions. I have always painted intrinsically with reds, oranges, and yellows in the foreground and blues and greens in the backgrounds. The core concept is straightforward; encode depth into an image by means of color, then optically decode the color to create a true holographic image.” says McKenzie, “It is truly exciting!”
McKenzie’s new 3d paintings will be available for public viewing following the awards ceremonies. For more information or to be added to the waiting list please call 888-368-5213.
