Where Internet Marketing and Blogging Collide

IMBlogs.net launches a new directory-style hub uniting online entrepreneurs and blogging.

(PRWEB) October 14, 2005 -- In a move nearly unprecedented within the online marketing community, a new entrepreneur-based website is offering its services for free.

IMBlogs.net ( http://www.imblogs.net ) opens the doors October 13, 2005 with a vision of being “where internet marketing and blogging collide.”

where internet marketing and blogging collide.
With even Donald Trump using a blog as a means of communication with fans and foes alike, many internet entrepreneurs have turned to blogging to reach potential customers. Blogs by online entrepreneurs often consist of product reviews, hints and tips, and updates on the marketers latest projects.

But the blogging community as a whole has not embraced the concept of making money with a blog. A recent conference call scheduled to discuss the opportunity to earn from blogging was mired in an ethical debate on whether one should earn money from their blog.

Despite the conflict, marketers continue to blog – and earn from their blogging efforts. Michelle Stahl, founder of IMBlogs.net, started her business blog as a way to reach customers and join the internet marketing community when she was beginning to build her business. Stahl looked for a resource to find other blogs by online entrepreneurs but wasn’t able to – and IMBlogs.net was born.

As well as being a directory-style hub for the online marketer’s blog, IMBlogs.net also accepts pings from blogs listed within the directory.

Stahl announced in her business blog, “With the integrated ping server, the back link potential is huge, since any updated blog will appear in the “Recently Updated” list throughout the site. And, as nearly all human traffic to the site will be looking for information on or involved in internet marketing, it’s a great way for listed IM bloggers to reach a captive, hungry audience.”

IMBlogs.net welcomes submissions of blogs on any topic related to internet marketing, including copywriting, blogging, search engine optimization and programming.

Entrepreneurs may enjoy the benefits of inclusion by submitting their blog for to IMBlogs.net at http://www.imblogs.net.
