ScrapYourTrip.com has always been committed to carrying the most unique and hard to find products for their customers. They carry over 150 travel destinations and extensive collections for Disney, Cruise, Military and NASCAR scrapbooking. Recently, ScrapYourTrip has added a new way to create extraordinary scrapbook pages when they announced the launch of ScrapYourSports.
ScrapYourTrip began in the spare bedroom of president Julie Swatek. In the beginning, Julie followed the orders from start to finish. She ordered supplies, published them on the web and watched anxiously for the customers to come. Once they did, Julie packed and shipped the orders paying attention to everything from the accounting and billing to the handwritten "Thank You" on each invoice and all that came in between.
Julie believed that it was possible to run a successful business with your heart. She felt that customer service was more important than the pursuit of wealth. Anyone could sell good products, but people would keep coming back if they felt like they were dealing with a friend. As it turns out, she was right. A few short years later, ScrapYourTrip consistently ranks as one the top online scrapbooking companies. They have grown into a 3,000 square foot warehouse with a dozen hardworking employees and tens of thousands of happy customers.
One of those customers is Wendy Doran from Edgewood, Maryland who says "this site is great! I have been able to find items on this site that I could not find anywhere else. I have really been able to bring the pages of my vacations alive with the unique items from this site."
This has attention to the hard to find niche themes has long been the mission for Scrap Your Trip. Most other scrapbook retailers, whether they be online or traditional brick and mortar stores, concentrate on carrying products with generalized mass appeal. ScrapYourTrip set out to be different. Their philosophy is that there is a market for the unique and unusual.
This philosophy coupled with Julie's staunch commitment to customer service caused Deborah Ruiz from Brooklyn, New York to comment, "I love shopping at the ScrapYourTrip website. Their prices are great and their selections are constantly being updated. (It is) a great place to shop with personalized service. If they don't have something you're looking for, send them an e-mail. They'll try their best to get what you need."
Now ScrapYourTrip has brought the principle of outstanding customer service combined with an eye for the unique together to announce they are branching off into a new direction; you can now ScrapYourSports. With more than 50 sports and activities categories including not only the big four football, baseball, basketball and soccer, but also theater, dance, band, cheerleading, rugby, archery, bowling, cycling and much, much more there is now an outlet for even the hardest to find activities.
Although ScrapYourSports carries a large selection of items from the traditional big four, they also carry items for areas as diverse as gymnastics, BMX racing, hockey and crew. They have also added activities such as drama, dance, theater, band, and orchestra which have been largely ignored by the traditional scrapbooking retailer.
And the scrapbookers couldn't be more appreciative. Cindy Keller from Lebanon, Pennsylvania writes, "I just wanted to say thanks for adding the sports and music products. Having a kid who doesn't play soccer and isn't interested in cheerleading has been an adventure in the scrapbooking world. It is wonderful to find a new source of supplies for kids who like to do a variety of activities which aren't the basic sports."
Gail Hare from Danville, Vermont agrees, writing, "I'm really glad you are including all those sports and other topics as well as the (travel) destinations. My daughter does tap, jazz, and modern dance and I am always glad to find papers that reflect those. In the mainstream stores, the dance themed items are almost always ballet. Please keep finding those unique dance papers!"
It seems as though ScrapYourSports will be as well received and as well regarded as its predecessor ScrapYourTrip. Now all that is left is to see what this little company with its boutique inventory and its heartfelt philosophy of individual service will decide to scrap next.
