This month, the firm will combine a Blood Drive for the Red Cross with a Food Drive to supplement the Salvation Army Disaster Relief Food Supply. The event will be held on October 17th from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. at its Bloomfield Hills offices on North Adams Road. Donors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the event.

Locally, officials of the American Red Cross Blood Services of Southeastern Michigan are working to shore up a low blood supply. The Salvation Army has announced concern that it will be unable to provide food for needy families during the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays
