Victor Gonzalez, the celebrated keynote motivational speaker and business author of The Logic of Success will be the after dinner keynote speaker for SHPE (Society of Hispanic Engineering Professionals) in Washington, DC on Saturday 22nd of Oct.
SHPE is an organization dedicated to engineering excellence for Hispanic and Latino students. The organization promotes excellence in education and professional development. Each year the organization attracts top Hispanic and Latino speakers like Victor Gonzalez to speak at their event.
Victor Gonzalez was named best Diversity College Speaker and nominated best College Speaker in 2004 by the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities (APCA).
As unique as his personal story, Victor Gonzalez’s programs are loaded with real-life experience. His own family struggled during his youth in Chicago near the Cabrini Green Housing projects, living off of food stamps and government handouts. He escaped poverty, drugs and violence and went on to create The Logic of Success Program. This leadership and personal development series incorporates the life-changing, thought-conditioning principles that transformed him from someone with no goals or ambition to an international record-shattering salesman and Vice-President in a $3B corporation and eventually, the President of Sales and Marketing for a $420M firm. Today he is the CEO of a High Tech company.
In 1999 and 2000, Victor received the prestigious President’s Advisory Council Award for outstanding leadership and management. Recently he was featured in "Selling Power," a nationally distributed magazine and is a contributing columnist to "Negocios en Marcha" magazine.
