Min Aik & Ergotron Technology Co. Ltd. Achieves ISO 9001:2005 Certification
World-class manufacturing site supports global sales growth of Ergotron's flat panel display mounting solutions.
St. Paul, MN (PRWEB) October 14, 2005 -- Min Aik & Ergotron Technology Co. Ltd. announces its achievement of ISO 9001:2005 certification in its new Guangdong, China manufacturing facility. Also known as M & E Technology Ltd., this facility is dedicated solely to the world-class manufacturing and distribution of Ergotron CF™ products and branded products for Ergotron’s OEM customers.
M & E Technology is a joint venture between Ergotron, Inc., of St. Paul, MN, and Min Aik Technology Company, Ltd., of Taiwan, R.O.C. ISO standards specify the requirements for state-of-the-art products, services, processes, materials and systems, and for good conformity assessment, managerial and organizational practices too.
“Both parties to the M & E Technology joint venture bring a solid and demonstrated commitment to ISO standards to the relationship, so it is significant that our new joint venture is now in full compliance of ISO standards as well,” says Craig Thomas, General Manager of M & E Technology.
Ergotron was also the first company certified to use the VESA® Mounting Compliance Logo. The VESA® Flat Display Mounting Interface (FDMI™) Standard defines mounting interfaces and hole patterns for LCD monitors, plasma displays and other flat panel devices. All of Ergotron’s new Flat Panel Mounting Solutions are designed to utilize the VESA FDMI standard — making monitor attachment quick and easy across the globe.
