Bivas Biswas' APT. 3157 Makes the cut at the International Horror Sci-Fi Film Festival 2005

Pictures' APT. 3157, directed by Bivas Biswas and written by Serena Torres Webbe, starring Deanna Moraga, Tom Blackwood, Kenette Haynes and Katie McGinley Colman, is selected for screening at the International Horror Sci-Fi Film Festival 2005 being held in Phoenix, AZ.

(PRWEB) October 16, 2005 -- In Apt. 3157 Director Bivas Biswas has succeeded in creating a short film that makes you look at Extra Sensory Perception abilities from a different direction. What if you were the poor woman moving into a new apartment only to start having visions of a terrifying attack and horrific murder? Do you ask for help? Now, what if the murder you saw was actually your own?

As a result of mixing an extremely gifted cast and crew, the thriller Apt. 3157 has been selected for the 2005 International Horror/SciFi Film Festival. It combines the talents of Deanna Moraga, Tom Blackwood, Kenette Haynes and up-and-coming youngster Katie McGinley-Colman. Director and Producer Bivas Biswas, Co-Producer Peter King, and Writer Serena Torres-Webbe were the driving forces behind the camera that brought out the supernatural in this film.

Katie enjoyed her first attempt at a horror film. “I’ve never done a scary movie before. There was a part where I had to scream and Tom covered my mouth up with his hand. We had to do it five or six times. I was afraid the neighbors were going to call the police. And Tom’s hand kinda tasted like soap!” she said.

Originally written for the 2005 Phoenix 48 Hour Film Challenge, Apt. 3157 has already won an award for the “Best Use of Dialogue” beating out over 30 other teams. It was also shown on AZ-TV ‘s “Screen Wars” -- a competition for short films.
