Hard Shell Word Factory is proud to announce the release of Ray Dix’s debut novel, 'Death Row Defender.' In 'Death Row Defender,' a man who swears he is innocent faces execution in Florida's electric chair. Retired Public Defender, Woody Thomas, struggles with his doubts of the man's innocence, the police, the system, an assassin, and his own past to save his client's life.

Florida, (PRWEB) October 18, 2005 -- As a capital crimes defense attorney for the State of Florida, author Ray Dix lived in the high-stakes world of providing the last line of defense for men and women sentenced to die.

Attorney Dix has written more than just a great legal thriller, more than just a mystery novel. Dix’s two-time award winning novel, "Death Row Defender," opens reader’s eyes to what goes on behind the scenes in a murder trial and how easily an innocent man can be convicted and sentenced to death. Along the way, Dix delivers a great read with a taste of Florida and characters that come alive.
