Monday October 17th – In response to the overwhelming need for help caused by the hurricane Katrina, Atlanta’s Spoken Word Community is taking action. FreeForum Xchange, Atlanta’s Premiere Spoken Word Xperience, is compiling a collection of spoken word songs from the city’s most beloved artists in an effort to create a fundraising album that is more than food for the soul.
(PRWEB) October 16, 2005 -- From the mouths of babies to the ears of the angels, The Water Is Never Too Deep features an all cast including work from Haziq, Tommy Bottoms (HBO Def Poetry Jam), Pe Blackwish, Yohannes Sharrif, Kimani Robertson (Founder of FreeForumXchange), Scott Sommers, Lotus Speaks, Ras Benzo, Snub (Word Sound Boxing champ) and others motivated to make a difference in this most challenging time.
This Sunday @ Apache Café [64 3rd St. Midtown] The Water Is Never Too Deep will Available to the public. In addition to the usual open mic we will be reaching out to the Atlanta Spoken Word community in a call to salvation and service.
