Kubi Software™, Inc., an innovator in sales effectiveness solutions, today announced it has joined the Siebel Alliance Program as a Base Software Partner. The integration of the new version of Kubi Enable™ (v2.6) with Siebel 7.7 was previewed at the Partner Pavilion at Siebel CustomerWorld at the Boston Convention Center (Booth #209; October 17 – 18). Siebel Systems, Inc. is a leading provider of customer-facing solutions. The alliance includes the intent to validate the integration of Kubi Enable business activity management software with Siebel 7.7.

Siebel's customer-facing solutions allow organizations to intelligently manage and coordinate all customer interactions across the Web, contact center, field sales/service force, branch/retail network, and indirect and partner distribution channels. Kubi Enable interfaces to Siebel 7.7, linking sales force automation (SFA) data to sales activities. This integration enables the correlation of sales activities with outcomes to easily institutionalize best practices, ensure compliance with business policies, and enhance collaboration. Leveraging Siebel’s multichannel offerings, Kubi Enable helps Siebel customers unify front- and back-office sales activities and maximize sales effectiveness.

Providing an intuitive, email-like environment, Kubi Enable promotes cross-functional collaboration and gives people the freedom to manage business activities from their preferred application such as Siebel or Outlook. With Kubi Enable, everyone across an organization can easily track, organize, and execute customer-centric activities to drive sales efficiencies, effectiveness, and profitability.

“Siebel Systems and Kubi Software share a common goal -- helping businesses improve their customer-facing activities,” said Mark Rankovic, CEO of Kubi Software, “and we are delighted to help advance these mutual objectives through the Siebel Alliance Program. Kubi is partnering with Siebel, the leader in business applications software, to extend and enrich Siebel solutions to a broad range of Global 2000 companies,” continued Rankovic.

“Siebel Systems’ partnership with Kubi Software addresses our customer needs for improved sales effectiveness, efficiency and collaboration,” commented Jeff Anderson, Senior Director of Alliance Marketing, Siebel Systems. “Through this partnership our customers will have a more complete and actionable view of their customer relationships while improving the caliber of their sales teams through institutionalizing the best sales practices of their top performers ─ all of which contributes to our customers’ competitive advantage.”

Kubi Enable (v2.6) Unveiled at Siebel CustomerWorld Partner Pavilion

Kubi Enable, version 2.6 shown for the first time at Siebel CustomerWorld, is integrated with Siebel 7.7. The Kubi Enable user interface is embedded within Siebel 7.7 so that Siebel customers can use Kubi from their preferred application. Kubi Activities can be triggered from Siebel 7.7 as opportunities are created or reach critical milestones so that sales assets and best practices are delivered at the optimal deal stages. Siebel opportunity data can also automatically synchronize with the appropriate Kubi Activities, and Kubi Activity outcomes and audit trails can be archived back into Siebel 7.7 when the Activity is completed.

Version 2.6 of Kubi Enable also delivers customer-driven enhancements such as:

  •      Improved Activity audit trails with before-and-after values that help users quickly identify changes in synchronized enterprise data such as Siebel opportunity data.
  •     Sidebar Emails that generate email messages to inform stakeholders not participating in the Kubi Activity.
  •     Sidebar Action Items to track actions and contributions from “casual contributors” not participating directly in the Kubi Activity.
  •     New Kubi Enable On-demand Trial installation process allowing authorized users to register, download and install the Kubi client trial software from a hosted server.

Siebel Systems forms alliances with proven technology leaders and vendors and requires that their technology passes the Siebel Certification program on which Siebel technology is validated. This program certifies professionals who can effectively work on a Siebel Systems implementation team and provides a standard by which customers are able to objectively measure consultants’ knowledge about Siebel customer-facing solutions and implementation techniques.
