Guyot Brothers Co., Inc., a Century old Manufacturer of Decorative Brass Stampings for the Costume Jewelry Trade Donates Rare Print of Antique Etching

Guyot Brothers hopes to lend support to an association who has added vibrance and sparkle to a very important phase of the industrial history of America, the manufacturing of costume jewelry.

(PRWEB) October 20, 2005 -- Donating this print to the Color Fund Auction to benefit VFCJ, the Vintage Fashion and Costume Jewelry association's quarterly magazine, will help provide needed funding to help them continue to publish color photographs of beautiful vintage and costume jewelry designed by costume jewelry greats such as Ruth Kamke, Miriam Haskell, Stanley Hagler, and Robert Mandle.

"Lucille Tempesta, the founder and leader of the Vintage Fashion & Costume Jewelry association has worked diligently and tirelessly for years to draw together vintage and costume jewelry collectors and designers from around the world who share a passion for vintage costume and fashion jewelry. Guyot Brothers has been in the midst of the costume jewelry industry as a supplier to the trade for over a century, so it seems only natural that we want to participate in the Color Fund Auction, and we hope that the print will generate a real benefit for the Color Fund", stated Andrea Guyot Twombly, Vice-President of the fourth generation manufacturing firm.

Interested parties can view the print of the antique etching, completed in 1892 by Numa Guyot, at this link
