(PRWEB) October 19, 2005 -- The worst of this storm will be felt in the early hours of Wednesday Oct. 19th, 2005. Currently the Cayman Islands are under a Hurricane Watch and a Tropical Storm Warning. The worst of this storm will be felt in the early hours of Wednesday Oct. 19th, 2005. However, the latest position tracks Hurricane Wilma passing at 140 miles South of our area. We should expect winds gusting to 60mph. The Government stated that all businesses remain close tomorrow or until an 'All Clear' has been officially declared by the National Hurricane Committee.
At present in the West Bay District in the area of Morgan's Harbour the winds are gusting to appx. 25mph. The tide is high and the North Sound is very choppy. All utilities are on, however the Town Hall Crescent area has experienced a power surge and a loss of power. Everywhere else still has power at this time.
Keep posted as the Storm approaches and as long as power is connected we will update this section of the website for our Tenants and Owners.
