A new television show about poker is set to hit the air soon. The Small Town Poker Tour(STPT) is as simple as the title states, blending everyday people with the exciting game of Texas Hold'em - a winning combination.
The tour is set to travel the USA in search of the best amateur poker player, along the way featuring a unique blend of characters that make for some very exciting action. Mark Fracalossi, CEO of AMT Media LLC and Billy Frank, Creative Director/Executive Producer of Make It Happen Productions, have announced a partnership to produce this exciting new show. "Make it Happen Productions has the staff, experience and creativity to bring this show to reality," states Fracalossi. "Billy Frank is the best Creative Director we could find for this project; he brings not only talent to this project but the energy it takes to put the Tour together. The STPT has selected "The Division" as their marketing and promotion partner. Mark Fracalossi Creator and Executive producer of the tour stated, "The Division is the best fit for us, they are hands down the top poker event and marketing firm out there.
"Jeff Brausch CEO of The Division is known for producing proprietary marketing programs for many of the world's best-known brands. His expertise in event marketing will truly make the STPT a world class tour," Fracalossi added.
"Stephen Connolly will handle day-to-day operations of the tour. With over 25 years of event management experience, Stephen will be responsible to seeing all details are carried out successfully. Matt Savage will ensure that the 'game' component of the Small Town Poker Tour is of the highest caliber. As the preeminent Poker Tournament Director in the World, Matt Savage knows how poker should be played," Fracalossi said. "They also have access to some of the worlds top players who will also advise on the tour," Fracalossi added. The STPT also plans European, Canadian and Asian Tours. "We are serious about making the STPT the finest amateur poker tour in the world and the partnership with The Division brings us the top people in the business of poker, and our vision to reality, what else can I say I am elated to have them on board," Fracalossi said.
The show will add a new grass roots look to the nation's fastest growing card game Texas Hold'em. It will also raise money for charity along the way. The show will give 100% of the raised money to charity, and the winner of each event will play in the Small Town Poker Tour Finals, for cash and prizes.
"We are still looking for unique towns and charities who would like be consider a stop on the tour," Fracalossi stated. "Just log on to the web site and tell us your story or just click to nominate your town," he added.
The tour will be not of the flashy set productions you see on television. "Our show is unique. The finals will be in a casino, but the rest of the show is a tour of America," Fracalossi stated. The tour will make promotional stops as it travels the country. "Our goal is to make this a fund raising machine for the towns we visit," he said.
