CrossFit Boulder Creek Sponsors Holiday Food Drive for Second Harvest Food Bank

Boulder Creek, CA (PRWEB) October 21, 2005 -- Beth Moscov, head trainer and owner of CrossFit Boulder Creek, is sponsoring a Thanksgiving “food and fitness” drive during the week of November 14th – 18th, 2005. For a donation of two non-perishable, dried or canned foods, participants will receive a complimentary 30-45 minute CrossFit workout. There is no limit on participation; only the expectation of donation for each workout attended.

“CrossFit is the premiere strength and conditioning program, and Second Harvest is the leader in the fight against hunger in America”, says Beth; “it makes perfect sense that we work together to build a stronger, more fit – and hunger-free nation; one community at a time.”

Beth is a certified CrossFit trainer, and is committed to working with everyone, no matter what their skill or strength level. “CrossFit delivers a fitness that is perfect for anyone who is dedicated to fitness, regardless of experience.”

If you are unfamiliar with Second Harvest; it is the largest domestic hunger-relief organization in the United States. Founded in 1979, today America's Second Harvest secures and distributes nearly two billion pounds of food and grocery products to more than 200 regional food banks and food-rescue organizations, including those in Santa Cruz County.

Join Beth in this “food and fitness” drive, during the week of November 14th – 18th, 2005. For further information, including the workout schedule, contact Beth; or visit her website at: http://www.crossfitbouldercreek.com/events.htm.
