Nashville Lifestyles Magazine celebrated it 6th anniversay issue with the Nashville's 25 Most Beautiful People Edition. With Faith Hill gracing the cover, Genma Stringer Holmes is in good company with noted country music celebrities like Sara Evans and Alan Jackson and Tennessee Titans' Drew Bennett.

Genma Stringer Holmes has graced numerous magazine pages and covers during her career. But since becoming an exterminator she is photographed more than when she was a struggling actor/model trying to make in the commercial print and film industry. "My life has come full circle...at one point I chased the clients to work for them but now I get calls from photographers and advertisers nation wide. Life is funny. God put me on the covers when he knew my head could handle it," Genma said with a big smile.

Confidence is not something Genma Holmes is lacking. Where she describes her personality as "outgoing" her friends she says, might say "crazy". While she may think of herself as "spontaneous," those who know her she admits, might prefer the term "daredevil."

Confidence sure comes in handy when it comes to her two main occupations, fashion model and exterminator-business owner ("If it moves, call Holmes Pest Control"). Mutually exclusive? Not for someone with Genma's moxie.

Genma Holmes was not only chosen because of looks but because of her strong committment to the Nashville community. "This issue recognizes those that are beautiful inside and out" stated Stacie Standifer, publisher of Nashville Life Style Magazine. "This was our largest issue to date and we had a tough time selecting individuals. Nashville is running over with dedicated and talented people who give of themselves endlessly. Genma is one of those people."

In additon to running Holmes Pest Control, Genma is a highly sought after conference speaker and still manages several photo shoots a month.

Genma is very active with women business issues through her work with NAWBO and NAFE and has worked countless hours volunteering with the Girl Scouts' "Income of Her" program. Genma also has volunteered tirelessly with Bethlehem Centers of Nashville annual fund raiser for the last several years. BCN is a non-profit that helps children, mothers, and the edlerly.

Genma took a leap of faith at Pest World 2005 and helped start Minorities in Pest Mangament (MPM). MPM is an organization that helps advance and educate minorities in the pest control industry. Pest World is held annually by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA). MPM hopes to give out nearly $200,000 in scholarships to minorities and women who are interested in the pest control industry.

When asked her age, Genma's reply was "older than twenty and younger than fify". Genma is married with three children. When asked about her response to being chosen as one of Nashville's 25 Most Beautiful People, her reply was in perfect character: "what took so long?"
