Distance Learning and Technology in All the United States Computer Labs

Links for Learning has begun to provide a new resource in the classroom, online tutoring for at-risk students. These tutors are able to provide additional help in Reading, Writing, and Math while the students are still at school. Links for Learning collaborates with the teacher to find the best learning style and discipline that students needs help with.

(PRWEB) October 22, 2005 -– Links for Learning, an Online Tutoring Site for K-12th Grade, has begun working with School Districts throughout the United States in placing tutors in the school computer labs. School Districts now have the access to place live tutors in all the computer labs in their schools. By implementing the No Child Left behind Law, our country is noticing the need for more resources in the classroom. Links for Learning is able to provide that added support, during classroom hours, in any location, to these At-Risk Students in Reading, Writing, and Math.

These tutoring sessions will last 30-50 minutes long and concentrate on area’s where students need the most help. Tutoring sessions are held in groups of 4 and are based on the special needs of each student which are provided by the teacher prior to the first session. Links for Learning collaborates with each teacher to find the needs of the students they will be tutoring online. The school districts also have access to free homework help after school hours for the students in this program. This can help reinforce what the students talked about in their internet sessions that day.

It is important for Parents, Teachers, and Students to inform their school district of this important new resource for the classroom. If school districts are able to place this form of technology in the classroom, the students will finally achieve success in the classroom in all forms of learning. Online Learning provides a different style of learning that can reach students who are having the most difficulty in the classroom, such as ADHD/ ADD students.

Links for Learning can collaborate with any school district and provide Live Chat on any school grounds to tutor students in the classroom. These sessions are during school hours and will reinforce concepts taught in the classroom. Online tutoring is able to reach students who are having difficulty in the classroom because it is able to use their learning styles to create the proper educational environment.
