Stabbing Murders of Three Women Prompt New Book

New novel loosely based on three Bronx murders.

Bronx, NY (PRWEB) October 22, 2005 -- Alan Cramer’s newest novel, The Life is loosely based on the stabbing deaths of three Bronx women. One of the women lived in Cramer’s building. The other two victims dated a man who hung out with some people in the building.

According to Cramer, this man had a family member who lived in the building. Eventually he went to prison for one of the murders. After his release, he started dating another girl from the ‘hood. Soon after she was found stabbed to death. Abut two months later Cramer remembers seeing this same man with a new ‘girlfriend’.

“They were walking arm in arm,” Cramer states. “I was shocked. I wanted to tell the girl to run. The sad part was this guy had no problem getting girls. He was a pretty boy, a light skined black man with light colored eyes. And all the victims were poor Black women."

The book also goes into the fact that the race of crime victims often determines the police and media response. The Life (ISBN 0975320521) is currently one of the hottest books on the streets of New York. It is available online, at selected retail outlets, and of course on the streets of New York.
