Easy to Use Web Robot Attracts Non-Technical Web Publishers

The free Web Robot from NetForAll finds success among non-technical users by ensuring attractive web sites even with no prior web publishing experience

Sandy, Utah (PRWEB) October 24, 2005 – The new Web Robot serves the needs of non-technical web users as they are now confident of producing attractive web sites regardless of their knowledge of computers or the web. In just minutes, any PC owner can create a site with advanced features such as online photo album, blog page, and even sell goods using a secure payment system.

The simplicity of the Robot is based on the principle that users normally know what they want, but do not generally have the time to deal with the technicalities. The Robot brings down all complexity while providing the options only found in premium web sites. While users familiar with the web can understand and implement the complex steps involved in creating web sites, first time publishers also obtain outstanding results with a few clicks of the mouse.

To some extent, using the new Robot is like sending email, although the end result appears on the web nicely formatted with choices background colors, fonts and dynamic effects. Publishing a blog is reduced to typing a text and sending it to the web. Creating an online photo album consists mainly in selecting the pictures that would be published. The pictures can be organized in folders to form different categories. Routine tasks such as creating and linking thumbnails are automatically performed. Also, adding a price tag produces an “Add to Cart” button that leads to the secure payment system.

From the user standpoint, all the work is reduced to the drag and drop of files from their original location into the web folder. Any type of file like document, image, music, video, application, executable is published in the same manner, without the need for further manipulation. Interestingly, the Robot is equipped with all the tools, and no additional software is required. No manual configuration is necessary, and it doesn’t even involve a web hosting company.

Poly Street, CEO of NetForAll states, "In the early days, some manual configuration was involved, but none is required in the current version. Users really like the fact that it just works, it does everything nicely, and it’s free. New web sites pop up all the time.” The approach of having the user express a desire and let the machine figure out its way through all the complexity to get the job done seems to appeal to a new wave of web publishers.
