“African Americans have made many great contributions to the Unites States as well as the world at large in almost every field of endeavor known to man.

However, history tends to overlook or briefly mention the many contributions and achievements made by African Americans.

With our heritage and culture being studied and/or discussed less and less in our educational system and only written about in rare instances in history books and archives, I wanted to bring to the forefront the achievements and contributions made by an entire race of people – African Americans. Many who are already well known; but also many who have never received the acknowledgment due them for their achievements and contributions.
