The American-Lights® high output UV air cleaner is suitable for air disinfection in commercial and industrial applications. The chassis, built from durable, commercial grade 304 stainless steel, is housing the electronic ballast which operates the high output germicidal UV lamp with 110/220V and 50/60Hz. American-Lights® can be installed directly in commercial HVAC systems or as a part of a fully enclosed, forced-air-movement air scrubber for air disinfection in commercial and industrial applications.

American-Lights® UV air cleaner has been proven to effectively sterilize airborne and surface bacteria, viruses, mold and spores. The American-Lights® UV air cleaner is now manufactured from commercial grade 304 stainless steel and is suitable for commercial and industrial applications.

The germicidal UV lamp outputs 12W of UVC /253.7nm wavelength after 100 hrs/ and delivers UV dosages of 800µW/cm²/sec at 1ft. With the automatic electronic ballast the UV air cleaner is operational with electrical specifications of 110/220V and 50/60Hz.

American-Lights® can be installed directly in any HVAC system or as a part of a fully enclosed, forced-air-movement air scrubber for air disinfection in commercial and industrial applications. Field tests in production facilities have shown bacterial counts reduction to negligible levels or zero only hours after air scrubbers, utilizing two American-Lights® UV air cleaners have been installed.

The American-Lights® high output germicidal UV lamp is specifically designed for HVAC installations. The lamp has a 4-pin ceramic base with Teflon wiring. It is constructed of type “L”, hard glass quartz which eliminates ozone production. Heat output is low, allowing the UV lamp to be installed safely in several different locations within the HVAC system. Effective lamp life is approximately one year.

American-Lights® is designed to conform to the GSA UV Standards for the Public Buildings: "Ultraviolet light (C band) emitters/lamps shall be incorporated downstream of all cooling coils and above all drain pans to control airborne and surface microbial growth and transfer. Applied fixtures/lamps must be specifically manufactured for this purpose."
