Blue Financial Calls for Identity Theft Education in Arizona

Federal Trade Commission says Arizona ID theft rate worst in nation. Blue Financial calls for Maricopa County to boost existing public information campaign.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) October 23, 2005 -- The Federal Trade Commission recent statistics show that Arizona has the highest per capita ID Theft in the Nation, and Maricopa County has the highest rate of any Metropolitan area. Blue Financial, an Arizona Mortgage Banker sees customers whose credit histories have been negatively affected by identity theft. Mr. Jolley, President of Phoenix, Arizona's Blue Financial, says it is very unfortunate because most people do not know the identity theft has taken place, and correcting the theft is time consuming and can be costly. Mr. Jolley promotes simple steps to protect ones identity like shredding documents, not leaving personal mail in mailboxes or garbage cans, and being leery of giving personal information to disreputable companies.

Mr. Jolley proposes increasing the funds for the fine Public Information campaign already undertaken by Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas, and asks all Maricopa Mortgage Banks and Brokers to join him in donating $100 to the campaign.

Mr. Jolley advocates personal financial self-control, lower consumer debt, decreased spending on credit cards, and achieving better credit scores by eliminating unnecessary expenses.

About Blue Financial:
Blue Financial was founded in 2002 to provide Arizona homeowners with less than perfect credit a place to borrow money at low rates, and to assist homeowners, through a refinancing transaction, to move toward the path of financial freedom by consolidating their debt, improving their monthly cash flow, and improving their credit history.
