Setting Up Your Own Podcast Studio: The PodSqod.com Podcast Offers Professional Broadcast Advice and Product Reviews for Podcasters Creating Their Own Home Studios

PodSqod helps the beginning Podcaster create their own home recording studios. PodSqod is a Podcast that delivers weekly equipment reviews and information on all things audio and broadcast related to the Podcast audience.

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) October 25, 2005 -- Mark Jensen is a 20 year broadcast veteran, voiceover artist and IT Professional. His flagship site, PodSqod.com, part of the Pod1Network.com is partnering with audio and broadcast equipment manufacturers to provide weekly equipment reviews focused towards the beginning Podcaster setting up their first home recording studio.

Podcasting is poised to change the way audio and video information is consumed. Mark Jensen explains, "Until now, our main sources of information were very static. We have radio, television and the print media. The Internet has been too fragmented to change the way we get information. Recently, Apple iTunes started supporting Podcasting after selling over 500,000,000 songs online." Jensen continues, "With Podcasting, (or audio-information-on-demand), overnight the rules have changed. Now, anyone with a mic and a computer can become a broadcaster, and people are listening."

PodSqod.com is a Podcast venture focusing on helping beginning Podcasters set up their first home studio. A Podcast show that helps others Podcasters. Jensen says, "Most Podcasters are computer savvy, but don't understand the art of broadcasting. ...that's where PodSqod.com comes in."

PodSqod does a weekly audio show every week with co-host and Producer Laura. By doing a "radio-type" weekly show, PodSqod can actually demonstrate audio and studio equipment and techniques. This makes a very unique listening and learning experience in that a listener can actually "hear" how a microphone sounds or how a vocal compressor enhances their sound instead of just reading about it.

PodSqod will cover "Everything Audio", from sound acoustics, mic techniques, and will demonstrate interesting studio equipment and software through "audible" reviews.

Mark Jensen summarizes: "All of the information and reviews we do are directed towards fellow Podcasters to help them get the most out of their Pocasting experience."
