Daily Points Record Shattered in Sports Picks Game

PicksPal player sets a new one-day point total for the online sports picks game.

Mountain View, Calif. (PRWEB) October 26, 2005 -- Smart and multiple picks carried a PicksPal player through a single-day record-breaking performance at the online sports picks game.

PicksPal’s “Pick Smart. Pick Often” slogan was taken to heart by Mr_Fuji, a player who uses the James Bond classic henchmen as his avatar, as he picked correctly for five straight times in the span of a single day to sky rocket his point total from 1000 to 388,000. This feat not only made him the week’s overall winner, but it also proved that picking multiple times a day is the recipe for huge success at PicksPal (www.pickspal.com).

PicksPal encourages its players to test their sports IQ by winning as many points as they can, ultimately challenging them to amass 1 million by the end of the week, an accomplishment which would earn them an induction into the site’s elusive “Millionaire Club.” Players start with 1000 points each Monday, which they can use to pick games from Pro Football, College Football, Baseball, Hockey, and others. Since the site is free, players play for points instead of money, so the only thing that’s on the line is precious bragging rights: invaluable to true sports fanatics.

Mr_Fuji’s 388,000-point hot streak came as close as anyone to reaching the acclaimed 1 million at the end of the week. The truly astounding aspect is the fact that he built all of those points in a single day. Historically, most of the top PicksPal players build their points by making several picks over the course of the week. Mr_Fuji really picked smart and picked often, accumulating more points in one day than anyone before had managed to keep during an entire week.

Mr_Fuji started early on Sunday with a soccer pick that generated big points for him. In the afternoon, he took those points and picked right again on two consecutive football games, quadrupling his points by this time. Later in the day, he risked his new point totals in baseball and late hockey games, ultimately increasing his point total by 380% at the end of the day.

Said Mr_Fuji of his record-breaking performance: “I wish I wouldn’t have waited until the end of the week to start playing.” Having not played during the week, he started with only 1000 points on Sunday morning, to which he added, “If I would have had any points coming into Sunday, I could’ve easily turned them into 1 million on that day. I was pitching a perfect game.”

With the football season in full swing, Sundays are the most active picking day for PicksPal players. Mr_Fuji’s incredible day shows that picking smart and picking often are the way to build points and reach the coveted Millionaire Club. And since sports are played every day of the week, should it not be that sports picks are made every day of the week too?
