Louisville, KY (PRWEB) October 27, 2005 -- Captive Indoor Media announced today that they have introduced “Digital Signage University.” Digital Signage University is designed to be a forum which can be visited by Financial Institutions and Retailers seeking information about proven formats for implementing a digital signage network. Registrations are being accepted now and the first classes are scheduled to begin on November 3rd.

“As digital signage continues to garner the curiosity of the marketplace, we continually find ourselves thrust into an educational role before we reach the implementation phase for our customers,” said Brian Nutt founder of Captive Indoor Media. “Because of this overwhelming search for knowledge about digital signage, we have decided to offer free courses on each stage of planning a digital signage project. By doing so, we hope to educate more people about the benefits of digital signage, set their expectations at a realistic level, and offer tips on managing their network for a long term success,” said Nutt.

Digital Signage is expected to represent a market of US$ 2 Billion by 2009. And although there is no denying the growing market, many prospective customers find themselves at odds over the best method and technology to use when enacting a network for their business.

“Digital Signage University will be an unbiased format created to answer the questions of prospective customers and consult them on the available technologies in the market today,” said Greg Barrett Director of Business Development for Captive Indoor Media. “We envision this forum growing to encompass input from experts across our industry and already have a number of exciting topics on the schedule before the end of the Year. By educating companies about digital signage technology, we believe the entire industry will benefit,” said Barrett.

Captive Indoor Media intends to conduct their classes over the web and will limit each class to members of each prospective vertical. “We want our attendees to be able to interact with their peers and bounce ideas off each other during our time together,” said Brian Nutt.

Captive Indoor Media is a privately held company founded in 2003 and based in Louisville, KY. www.captiveindoormedia.com.
