Gambling911.com Posts Betting Odds on 2005 Breeder's Cup

Saint Liam the early favorite with odds posted at +200.

Miami Beach, FL (PRWEB) October 26, 2005 -- Gambling911.com in cooperation with its advertising partner, BetJamaica.com, has posted betting odds on the 2005 Breeders Cup, which will run this coming Saturday, October 29.

BetJamaica.com, which allows gamblers to bet horses over the Internet, has made Saint Liam an early favorite with odds posted at +200 to win the Breeders Cup Classic.

Jerry Bailey has won the Breeders' Cup Classic four times: Saint Liam could be No. 5 for the Hall of Fame jockey.

"It won't be easy," Bailey said Wednesday, "but I think on his game Saint Liam is better than the rest."

Saint Liam was an easy winner of the Woodward Stakes with Bailey aboard for the first time. So it's no surprise the 5-year-old horse was the early 3-1 favorite when an overflow field of 16 was pre-entered for the $4 million Classic.

Rock Hard Ten, one of the favorites for the $4 million Breeders' Cup Classic listed with odds of +320, has a bruised left front foot but still galloped Sunday morning at Santa Anita, albeit without a shoe.

Trainer Richard Mandella had the shoe removed to help the foot heal. The bruise was discovered Thursday and has delayed the 4-year-old colt's cross-country trip to Belmont Park until Wednesday.

Borrego is listed with the third best odds at +350.

As a colt who lost his first 13 stakes appearances, Borrego may have elicited more than a few double takes as he rumbled to victories in the Pacific Classic Stakes (G1) and Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1) in his last two starts.

Beau Greely, who trains and co-owns the four-year-old son of El Prado (Ire) in a partnership that includes Jon Kelly, Brad Scott, and Raleigh Ralls, said the sudden success came more from an awakening than a drastic improvement.

"He’s always been a really nice horse," Greely said on Sunday at Belmont Park after watching Borrego gallop 1 1/4 miles in preparation for the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) on October 29. "Shoot, he’d earned $900,000 before he won his first stakes. He doesn’t owe me anything. But has he woken up? Yes. He’s learned how to win."

BetJamaica.com is offering a 20% signup bonus. For example, if you deposit $500, you will receive a free $100.
