Kids for Katrina and Rita..A Masquerade Festival for Kids is held at Boscov's Center Court in Shore Mall to Benefit the Children of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita

Kids for Katrina is another Event hosted by Boscovs and the AC Dance Theatre along with the Martin S, Wilson Jr Center for the Arts . Kathy Varallo, p.r. head for Boscovs is the event coordinator.

(PRWEB) October 29, 2005 -- Projects and facilities are being developed to act as outreach programs for children, senior citizens and the disabled to help enrich their lives and awaken artistic capabilities. Until that time is here, it's businesses like Boscov's Dept.store in the Shore Mall that are filling the bill and stepping in to help.

The Kids for Katrina / Rita Masquerade festival will feature some of the areas finest young talent performing for the specific purpose of raising funds to aid the Hurricane victims and their kids. Fan favorite Diamond Red will be there to do his "Cab Calloway" tribute ,as well as entertainers from the Incubator for Talented Youth Program..The Wilson Sisters..Zack Vanmourik and the AC Dance Theatre. Also appearing are BreakOut Entertainment songbirds Kaitlyn Sutton and Devin Riley.

Also on hand will be the creators of the hottest new kids animated show around KOPS(Kids on Patrol) Brian Bell, Andy Julia and Dan Marro.

Events like Kids for Katrina/Rita are a result of combined efforts from the areas top community leaders.
