These awards are given to women who have significant accomplishments in the film or television industry. The 2005 Women In Film & Television International (WIFTI) Summit will be hosted by Women In Film Los Angeles and will take place at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Century City from Saturday, Oct. 29 through Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005. The Summit is held to celebrate the global culture of Women In Film’s worldwide chapters. The Summit provides a perfect forum for filmmakers from all over the world to network, greet old friends and forge new relationships. There will be four exciting days of panels, lunches, cocktail parties, screenings and special events.
Women In Film & Television International (WIFTI) is a network of 37 Women In Film chapters from around the world representing 9000 members. The Summits are held every other year and hosted by a different chapter each time. The WIFTI Summit will be hosted this year, Oct. 29 through Nov. 1, 2005 by the Women In Film Los Angeles Chapter at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Century City. There will be four days of panels, screenings, special events, coffee talks, parties and networking.
Women In Film’s purpose is to empower, promote, nurture and mentor women in the industry through a network of valuable contacts, events and programs, including the WIF Mentor Program, the award-winning Public Service Announcement Production Program, and the Internship Program in association with the Fulfillment Fund.
