Vegas Vertigo: U2 Fan Party to Benefit the African Well Fund

U2 fan party in Las Vegas to benefit the African Well Fund.

(PRWEB) October 29, 2005 -- The African Well Fund is excited to announce a fundraising event presented by Interference.com one of the largest U2 fan websites. Vegas Vertigo will take place on Nov. 3rd at the Hard Rock Café in Las Vegas on the eve of U2’s two sold out shows at the MGM Grand.

Vegas Vertigo takes place from 8:00 to 10:00. The event presents an opportunity for U2 fans in town for the shows to meet and party while at the same time raising money for clean water projects in Africa. Reservations for the gathering are $5 per person and include one ticket for an exciting U2 prize giveaway. Items up for grabs include signed copies of the books "Stealing Hearts at a Traveling Show" and "I Was Bono's Doppelganger," as well as two signed, numbered Niall O'Loughlin prints and many more books, CDs and other goodies. The African Well Fund is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded by a group of U2 fans in late 2002. Since that time, the African Well Fund has raised more than $100,000 for clean water programs. Donations to the African Well Fund are donated to Africare’s water projects in Africa.
