The Athena system rules that Farmers Mutual Insurance developed allow 99% of the underwriting to be performed during rating; which will significantly reduce the manual underwriting process. The system also allows agents to bind policies in office and lookup vital policy information. For example, they can lookup billing, accounting, and document images on any policy in the Athena system. Of course everything is controlled by user access level and Agency / MGA affiliation.
