Global Talk Radio (http://www.globaltalkradio.com) is pleased to announce give guest authors appearing on the October 31st edition of "A Story to Tell".

Our first guest is Larita Arnold, author of "The Fastest Ship." At the close of the Golden Age of Sail... Elusive pirate Captain McGwyer left a trail of abduction and murder throughout the Caribbean. But the HMS Griswald, a British Royal Navy frigate, rescued one of his victims, a young girl named Elena. She was destined to marry the Captain, the man who would also build the HMS Warrior, England's first ironclad warship. Now Warrior's maiden voyage to the Caribbean will solve the mysteries of a lost treasure and a lost memory. Sail the Caribbean and the Atlantic in this tale of high adventure, romance, and technological revolution.

Ben Throckmorton joins us with some tips to help those of us with a less-than-perfect golf game. "How To Break 90 In 3 Easy Lessons" starts at the beginning and teaches you to develop the feel and consistency necessary throughout your game. You'll gain a completely new understanding of how your swing works and how you can repeat your motion over and over again even under intense pressure. The detailed written instruction, photo illustrations, and video footage reinforce the concepts taught in the program. Combined, they form the most effective golf instructional tool on the market today.

Dr. Johnathan Isom, a successful anesthesiologist practicing in Memphis, Tennessee, has written his first book, "Ambition: Be Careful What You Ask For", an absorbing novel that takes the reader on a suspenseful journey of intrigue and drama, transcending the business district of Memphis, the fascination of Amsterdam and the mystery of New Orlean's French Quarter. Although Dr. Isom is definitive in acknowledging that he views himself as a storyteller rather than a writer, it is clear that we will hear more from this new novelist who comments his favorite character in "Ambition: Be Careful What You Ask For", Private Investigator Mickey Stone, just might be his alter ego.

Next up is Scot R. Stone, author of The Snowtear Wars series, which reaches mass audiences (junior high age level to adult) and on different levels, which to Scot, makes it all that more real. Adventure, mystery, romance, and action are just a handful of the elements that make the series a complex web to become wrapped up in. The second (and current) book in the series is "The Ice Shadows of Arna", which builds upon the solid foundation of the first book ("The Chimes of Yawrana") and gives readers much more to dive into as they continue to explore the lands of Elvana.

Finally, we hear from Jeanette Stark, author of "The Katrina Myth". It is about Deucalion, a planet fifty-five thousand light-years from Earth, and myth says that its people were brought there from Earth ten thousand year-spans earlier by Katrina, an Earth woman. Pelle, a Deucalionean, is visiting Earth but misplaces his time travel device and is unable to get home. Meanwhile back on Deucalion Pelle's father Chichén experiments with a shamanic weed known as paccar and excuses his use of paccar as a means to visit Earth and learn why his son Pelle and companion Kersee have not returned to Deucalion. But the real truth lies in Chichén's life quest to know if the Katrina myth is true. Time travel is necessary to the plot of Katrina but the virtues and weaknesses of the players are the real focus, whether expressed on Earth or on a planet in the distant constellation of Aquarius.
