Brides-To-Be Say “I Do” To Vermont’s Premier Bridal Event: The Wedding Affair Presented By Vermont Vows

Share Article

The first-ever “Vermont Wedding Affair,” a one-of-a-kind bridal event for local and destination couples that want to experience the best Vermont has to offer. From planning seminars and décor workshops to makeovers and manicures, the Vermont Wedding Affair will introduce you to the products, people and places that create Vermont’s most talked about events.

A red carpet entrance with valet parking and formal doormen, an elegant atmosphere with hand-butlered champagne, chocolate truffles and delectable hors d’oeuvres. Unlike any other bridal event in Vermont, The Wedding Affair was created to provide local and destination couples a unique and luxurious atmosphere in which to plan a spectacular Vermont wedding.

The first event of its kind, The Vermont Wedding Affair will bring over 40 of Vermont’s most celebrated wedding professionals and purveyors of all things nuptial to the Elley-Long Music Center at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt. From cakes and couture to linens, invitations, spa services and entertainment, brides-to-be and their guests will meet Vermont’s finest in the most intimate of settings. Unlike impersonal “expo-style” bridal events, The Vermont Wedding Affair will offer small and exclusive planning seminars and décor workshops, introducing guests to the products, people and places that create Vermont’s most talked about events.

“We’ve hand-selected our participating wedding professionals to ensure that our guests have access to the absolute best in all things bridal. The event’s presenting businesses are on par with those of much larger cities, but they’re right here at the fingertips of brides who have chosen Vermont as the place to say ‘I do’,” says Krista Washburn, Editor of Vermont Vows, the state’s signature wedding publication and presenter of the Vermont Wedding Affair. “In mirroring the quality of our publication, we wanted to create an event that would set a new standard for bridal events in the state. We did not set out to be typical. We’re pulling out all the stops to make this an exclusive event that brings every ounce of wedding luxury, wedding elegance and wedding style to one place.”
