Sirius S50 -- First Shipments Hit the Air from SkyBox USA

SkyBox USA ships first orders of the Sirius S50, perhaps the most anticipated satellite radio product release in history. This wearable, full color, Sirius radio revolutionizes Sirius' product lineup and SkyBox USA delivers.

Boynton Beach, FL (PRWEB) November 22, 2005 -- SkyBox USA, a leading online retailer of satellite products and services, announces first shipments of the Sirius S50 (S50-TK1) to consumers.

SkyBox USA had responded swiftly to Sirius' first news of the future S50 release by changing business rules and processes on its secure e-store to allow consumers to reserve the S50 radio. The company then continued its leadership in the satellite radio market by shipping it's first wave of Sirius S50's.

First generation Satellite Radios are very good, but the S50, equipped with the new third generation technology is great! The demand for this product is already keeping us busy and we are preparing for around the clock operations, as we head into the holiday season.
Jason Myers, Co-Founder of SkyBox-USA was quoted as saying, "By leveraging our buying power, cash position and relationships, our team was able to secure product and then quick-turn it so that orders could ship-out to satisfy the insatiable demand of our customers. The arrival of the Sirius S50-TK1 required us to swiftly deploy resources from various states to our fulfillment operation in order to expedite fulfillment to customers who had reserved one prior to its release. This product is proving to be the hottest gift on holiday wish lists this year and the early sales volume proves it."

The first of its kind, from Sirius, the S50-TK1 is a sleek and eye catching portable, wearable radio featuring both MP3 and WMA capability. The unit is able to hold up to 50 hours of satellite and MP3/WMA programming.

"This product is Sirius' homerun into the wearable marketplace," said Dave Cassie Co-Founder. "First generation Satellite Radios are very good, but the S50, equipped with the new third generation technology is great! The demand for this product is already keeping us busy and we are preparing for around the clock operations, as we head into the holiday season."

The S50 comes bundled with a car kit and the home dock is sold separately. SkyBox USA offers a special bundle of the S50-TK1 and Home kit to its customers.
