Doug Engel Wins Editor's Choice Fall Writing Contest

Doug Engel has won the Editor's Choice Writing Contest for the second time. Editor Audrey Owen says he has a unique voice that draws the reader into his memories.

Engel's first win, in Spring 2004, introduced his lyrical style and nostalgic themes to Internet readers.

He continued the nostalgia with his Fall 2005 win, FISHIN' OFF THE POINT http://writershelper.com/writing-contest-pride-doug-engel.html, a vignette about childhood fishing illustrating the theme of pride.
